Knocked over a $3 shelf, lost a $40 juicer bulb to the tile floor

Last Sunday I grabbed a juice press from the Habitat ReStore for three bucks, thinking I'd finally found a working one. Got it home, set it on a flimsy shelf I also thrifted, and the shelf gave out sideways within five minutes, sending the glass pitcher straight onto the kitchen tile. Cleanup took forever, but I learned to check the base weight and rubber feet before trusting any used appliance on a used shelf. Anyone else lost a cheap find to a cheaper shelf or stand, or is that just my luck with secondhand furniture?

Lost a whole vintage blender the same way last year, shelf buckled and it hit the counter edge. Still bitter about it lmao, now everything heavy goes straight on the floor or a solid table.
