Flat tire week at the shop: 9 tubes in 4 days from one glass alley in Phoenix
Last week I patched or replaced 9 tubes in 4 days, and 7 of them came from the same stretch of alley behind Roosevelt Row in Phoenix that's covered in broken bottles. A commuter came in twice in 3 days, so I sold him a set of Schwalbe Marathons and he said the ride felt like pedaling through mud. For the folks working downtown, do you push puncture resistant tires on customers or just tell them to avoid that alley?
