A hundred and fifty dollars for a jacket that just traps your own sweat is brutal. I would have been so mad after that first soggy ride home. It's crazy how the expensive stuff sometimes works worse than the cheap layers you already trust. That kind of disappointment makes you really careful about buying gear again.
