My bike lock jammed shut right as the rain started pouring
I was trying to leave work on Thursday and the key just wouldn't turn in the lock. I got soaked for 20 minutes trying to wiggle it free before a guy with some WD-40 saved the day. Anyone have a better lock brand they trust?

Ugh that's the worst feeling. I had a cheap cable lock do that to me last year, totally rusted inside. Switched to a Kryptonite U-lock and keep the keyhole covered with a little rubber cap. The WD-40 trick is a lifesaver but a little grease on the key every few months works better for me.

Always figured a little WD-40 was enough until my lock seized in the rain. Had to cut the thing off with an angle grinder. Felixw68 has the right idea with grease on the key, it sticks around longer. That rubber cap trick is smart too, keeps the gunk out.
