I finally canceled my cable package after realizing I was paying $120 a month for reruns.

Now I just use two streaming services and have way more to actually watch. Anyone else ditch cable and find a show they love because of it?

Yeah troy saying his watch list is full of new stuff now really hits home. I was one of those people who thought you needed cable to find good shows, like it was some kind of expert guide. But getting rid of it forced me to actually look for stuff, and I found this weird British show about time traveling detectives that I'm obsessed with. I would have never even seen it buried on some cable channel at 2pm on a Tuesday.

Cutting the cord was the best move I made (my bill was about the same as yours). I stumbled onto "For All Mankind" on Apple TV plus, which I never would have found flipping through channels. It's a full alternate history of the space race, and it's totally pulled me in. My watch list is actually full of new stuff now instead of the same old repeats.

Exactly, the algorithm suggestions actually work when you're not just scrolling the same fifty cable channels. Set up a master list on something like JustWatch or Reelgood to track what's on which service. It stops the "I know I wanted to watch that but where is it" panic. You end up watching complete shows instead of whatever rerun is on at 8pm.
