inCalibration slips on our torque tools are leading to over-tightened bolts.
Saw a friend's team miss a few logs and their metrics went way off. They only fixed it after putting reminders on everyone's calendars.

inDAE skip heat shrink on outdoor splices? I used to, but a rainy job proved me wrong.
Yeah, that reminds me of a time my neighbor tried to quick-fix an outdoor light with just tape... said it was only temporary. Well, temporary turned into a month... and then a big storm rolled through. The connection pooled water and shorted out the transformer... melted part of the housing. He ended up replacing the whole light fixture... took him all weekend. Makes you think twice about skipping any seal, even for a day.

inShoutout to noticing fabric textures in my grandma's old quilts
Ever hear about texture sparking a full project? My buddy found this old wool blanket at a thrift store, and the scratchy feel of it made him design a whole vest lined with fleece. He said the contrast was the whole point.

inMy DIY concrete countertop failed because I rushed the curing time
Quickest crushed granite countertop on record" sounds about right, but maybe for the wrong reasons. I mean, if it went that fast, I'm guessing it wasn't exactly a quality install. That's the kind of speed record you get when the whole thing cracks before the sealant even dries. Just picturing someone leaning on it and hearing that awful crunch. Honestly, a record for how quickly it turned into a very expensive, rocky mess. Was the prize just a bucket of granite dust and regret?
