Went back and watched The Wire after 15 years and it hits so different now
I first binged The Wire back around 2010 on those old Netflix DVDs, three discs at a time in the mail. Watched the whole thing again over the past couple months and I swear I noticed stuff I completely missed the first time, especially all the stuff with the dock workers in season 2. Back then I just wanted to see Omar and Stringer, now I actually care about the little moments with Bubbles and the kids. Anyone else had a show hit them totally different the second time around?
