Had to pick between a coal forge and propane last month.
I went with propane for the cleaner startup, but after three weeks I'm fighting with the regulator more than I ever thought I would. Anyone else deal with constant flame issues on a new propane setup?

Propane's clean but those budget regulators tend to frost up in cold weather.

Man oh man, you're bringing back memories with that one. @the_miles, my buddy tried to save twenty bucks on a regulator last winter and ended up with a frozen mess that sounded like it was gargling gravel. I swear, the thing looked like a popsicle by the time we got the tank swapped out. Now I just tell people to spend the extra cash or deal with the headache of thawing it out with a hair dryer in the dark.
