Picked the audiobook over the physical copy for my book club pick and now half the group is mad at me
I chose the Audible version of Project Hail Mary for our June read since I commute 45 minutes each way to work, but three members said they can't follow along with audio and now we're stuck debating whether to switch formats next meeting.

Started listening to the audio version of a book once and realized three chapters in that I was just mentally planning my grocery list instead of following the story. Your mileage may vary but honestly I'd rather someone pick a format they'll actually finish than force everyone to use one that makes them zone out. Maybe suggest a compromise where the next book is physical and this one stays audio just to keep the peace.
