I used to press my signatures for 24 hours, but after a humid week in Savannah ruined a batch, I switched to a 48-hour press with blotter paper.

Has anyone else found they need to adjust their pressing time based on the weather, or is there a better trick for dealing with humidity?

Weather absolutely changes everything. My own bookbinding projects taught me that summer humidity can add a full day to drying times for glue. It's a good reminder that our routines often need to bend a little for the environment.

@piperf40 have you found any tricks to speed up drying when it's humid? I've tried a fan but it only helps a little. Makes me wonder if some glues handle moisture better than others.

Savannah humidity taught me that lesson too.
