Had a client yesterday that totally changed how I do extractions
I was working on this woman in her late 40s, she had really stubborn congestion around her chin area. I was about to go in with my regular method when she just casually said, 'you know what works better for me is when you press and lift instead of pressing and dragging.' I mean, I've been doing extractions the same way for like 5 years now, figured there was only one right way. So I tried her suggestion on one spot and honestly, the stuff came out way cleaner with way less redness. She said her old esthetician in Portland taught her that trick and it just stuck with her. Now I'm wondering how many other little tips I might be missing out on just because I'm stuck in my routine. Has anyone else had a client teach them something that ended up being better than what you learned in school?
