Rant: My humidity dome experiment went south fast - is misting better than sealing?

Has anyone else had better luck with one method over the other for specific plants?

Oh man yes, I've totally been there! My pepper seedlings got all moldy under the dome but perked right up once I switched to misting them a couple times a day.

I used to be Team Dome all the way but you just totally changed my mind on this.

Are we REALLY acting like putting a dome on some seedlings is some life-altering decision? It's just plants, man.
