Hit a little milestone today with my pointing work

I found out from an old foreman friend that my mortar joints this month are averaging 3/8 inch consistent across 120 feet of wall, which surprised me because I always thought I was off by a hair.

Ha, well @the_jake that's funny because I once told a rookie his joints looked great and he'd been accidentally using a level for a straightedge the whole time.

Actually 3/8 is a little thick, most guys aim for 3/8 but it should be closer to 3/8 if you're using a trowel and not eyeballing it.
