Bought a 50 pound bag of lentils for $45 and now I'm stuck with lentil everything
Saw a bulk bin at the grocery outlet in Regina and thought I was being smart. 50 pounds of green lentils for under 50 bucks. That was three months ago. I've made lentil soup, lentil burgers, lentil curry, lentil salad, and I still have maybe 40 pounds left. They last forever but my family is starting to stage an intervention. Anyone else ever commit to a mega bulk buy that backfired?

Oh man, I used to totally judge people for buying in bulk but now I get it. You see a deal and you just can't say no. How are you getting creative with the lentils to keep it from getting boring?

Wait wait wait, you bought lentils in bulk? Like a whole bag of them? That's wild to me because I remember buying one tiny box of lentils once and it sat in my pantry for like a year before I even touched it. My grandma used to swear by lentils, but she'd just boil them with a ham bone and call it soup for a week straight. I bet you're doing way more than that though. Are you making lentil tacos or something? That sounds kinda good actually if you season it right.
