Dollar Tree run in Toledo taught me to freeze my own burritos, 12 for $6
Stopped at the Dollar Tree on Secor in Toledo last month to grab trash bags and saw tortillas, canned beans, and bagged rice all sitting there for a buck each. I grabbed 4 packs of tortillas, 4 cans of beans, a bag of rice, and a block of cheese, rang up $6.10, then went home and rolled 12 burritos in about 40 minutes. Wrapped them in foil and froze them, and now I grab one on my way out the door instead of dropping $4 at the drive thru. The rice is the trick, cook it first and let it cool or the tortillas get soggy. Anyone got a filling that survives the freezer better than beans and cheese?
