Frozen veggie bags beat fresh for my taco nights, and here's the math

I switched from buying fresh peppers and onions for tacos to the $1.50 frozen stir-fry mix at Aldi, and a 12-ounce bag lasts me 3 dinners instead of one sad produce haul. The texture holds up fine when I roast them in the skillet, so has anyone else found a frozen shortcut that actually tastes close to fresh?
