inQuestion about wireless panels I used to hate
Replaced my third wireless panel last month and ended up dropping my screwdriver through the attic insulation, had to fish it out with a coat hanger. The wireless definitely saved me that day even if my pride took a hit. Would still take a hardwired system any day of the week, but I finally stopped badmouthing these things after that old-house job.

inLookout Point at Death Valley was packed with tripods last week
Oh man, that's definitely me you're talking about. Ngl, I was that guy who set up camp right next to the boardwalk last summer, thinking I found the best spot ever. Tbh, I was so proud of myself for getting there early, too. Then some dad with his kids walked by and casually mentioned the same thing you just did, and I felt like a total rookie. Honestly, I spent the next hour pretending to adjust my tent stakes just to save face.

inI still think Hemingway's short stories beat his novels any day
My buddy said Hemingway shorts hit him harder than any novel ever did.

inOrdering a shed: Duramax Sheds Online or Duramax Sheds Direct?
I noticed that too when I was shopping around! I actually called both places to ask about shipping times. The rep at Duramax Sheds Online was way more knowledgeable and actually answered the phone quickly, so I went with them.

inWater pump seized on a 6.7 Powerstroke at 3 AM
You said "anyone else keep a spare pump in their truck now" and honestly I used to think that was overkill. Thought it was just extra weight and clutter. But after seeing this exact thing happen to a buddy on a trip last year I completely changed my mind. He was stuck for 8 hours waiting for a tow and a replacement pump at 2 AM. That experience convinced me that having a spare belt and water pump in the toolbox is worth the space. Now I keep both in my service truck and it's already paid off once. It's just one of those things you don't think about until it happens to you.
