How my team's meal sharing cut our lunch costs

It's fun, cheap, and we all benefit!

We all benefit" made me think of how me and my roommates do something kinda similar... but with streaming services. We each pay for one and share the passwords. It saves everyone a bunch of money every month. It started because we were all complaining about how many different apps you need now just to watch stuff. Feels good to beat the system a little, you know? Just one of those small wins that makes life a bit cheaper.

I get why it feels like a win, but I see it differently. Streaming services are already way cheaper than most things, and sharing passwords is technically breaking their rules. It just makes me worry they'll start making things harder for everyone.

Spot this kind of thing everywhere now. People share one person's Costco card, split a family Spotify plan, or use a buddy's Amazon Prime for free shipping. It's not really about beating the system, it's just trying to keep up when everything wants its own monthly fee. Feels less like sharing and more like basic survival math.
