Used to bulk buy ground beef at Costco every month

I used to think buying that 10 pound tube of ground beef at Costco was the best money saving move. But after 3 months I realized I was throwing away almost 2 pounds of it every cycle because I couldn't use it in time. Now I just buy what I need for the week from the local market, even if it costs a bit more per pound. Anyone else find that bulk buying leads to more waste at the end of the month?

That 2 pound waste number hits close to home. I used to be all about the bulk buy but after throwing out half a tube of spoiled meat I switched to weekly shopping too.

Same here. That spoiled meat smell is enough to change your whole shopping style.
