Always thought flight deals were fake... until I found one

I was in Denver last Thursday and missed my connecting flight home. Ended up checking Google Flights on a whim and found a direct flight to Dallas for $47. Had to book it right there in the terminal... has anyone else accidentally stumbled into a cheap flight like that?

No way, $47 in the terminal? That's insane, I would have thought it was a scam or something! Did you really just click buy without checking every hidden fee first?

Oh man, $47 is legit though? I mean I've seen those crazy cheap fares pop up but usually they're for like 6am flights on a Tuesday to nowhere useful. That's pretty wild you snagged it right there in the terminal though. I always assume those prices are some glitch or they'll add on a bunch of fees later. Did it actually end up being $47 out the door or did they hit you with bag fees and crap?
