I finally compared bus travel with trains across Spain

Last year I took a bus from Madrid to Seville for 15 euros and thought I was saving big. Then this summer I did the same route by train for 25 euros and got there two hours faster with wifi and a power outlet. The bus had one bathroom break and no AC when it hit 40 degrees. Has anyone else found that paying a little more for trains actually saved them time and stress?

Man that Madrid to Seville trip in summer sounds brutal. I did the same thing once from Barcelona to Valencia and the bus AC broke down halfway through the ride. Never again. Trains are just way more chill even if they cost a bit more. You actually get to work or nap instead of hoping the driver makes a pit stop. Honestly the extra 10 euros is totally worth not feeling gross and stressed for half the day.
