The hostel guy who told me to skip the museum pass was right, and I still hate that
Last March in Lisbon a guy at the reception desk told me to skip the 24 hour city pass and just walk the Alfama neighborhood with a loaf of bread and some sardines, and honestly that one morning with him showing me the free miradouros beat every paid attraction I've done since, so how do you all decide when the 'insider secret' is actually worth ignoring the guidebooks, or do you just let random strangers run your trip too?
