Heard a cashier tell a customer to skip the bakery aisle if they wanted to save money
I was at the Kroger on Elm Street last Tuesday grabbing a few things for the week. The cashier told an older lady that most bakery items are just marked up versions of the same bread you can get for $1.50 less in the bread aisle. It hit me that I've probably wasted close to $200 this year alone on those cinnamon rolls when I could just make them at home. Has anyone else found a specific store section that's a ripoff like this?
