My coworker at the bar mentioned she saves $80 a month just by making her own coffee creamer.
We were cleaning up after a shift and she said she used to buy the fancy flavored kind every week. She showed me a recipe she found online that uses condensed milk and vanilla, and it takes maybe five minutes to mix up. Has anyone else found a simple swap that added up to real money?

The math never works out for me on those DIY projects. Buying the condensed milk and vanilla extract adds up fast, and then you have to store it. My time is worth something too, and I'd rather just grab the small carton at the store. It feels like a lot of effort for maybe saving a couple bucks.
