Just realized my bullet journal went from 6 colored pens to one cheap black pen and I'm way happier
Back in 2019 I had the whole setup, four highlighters, a ruler, washi tape, and I'd spend 45 minutes on a weekly spread before writing anything useful. Now it's one black pen and a notebook from the drugstore in Dayton, and I knock out my week in about 5 minutes. The turning point was a Tuesday night when I missed dinner messing with a banner for a page I never looked at again. My old journal was pretty and empty, this one is ugly and full of stuff I need. Does anyone else find that cutting the art supplies out made them write more?
