Lost my whole setup at a cafe in Austin, now I use a backup key
I was journaling at a busy coffee shop and left my pen case on the table for 2 minutes to grab a refill, came back and it was gone with all my favorite pens and my daily log. Do you guys carry a spare pen or just accept the loss when you travel with your journal?

Ugh, that sucks, but a backup key isn't really a backup if it's the same pen you use every day, right? I just accept the loss and carry a cheap ballpoint for emergencies, keeps the good stuff safe at home.
