My bujo chore chart finally got my roommate to clean the bathroom

We kept having the same argument about who last cleaned the shared spaces. I drew a simple chart in my bullet journal and stuck it on the fridge, so now we just initial when it's done. Does anyone else use their journal to manage household stuff with people they live with?

That chart idea is honestly genius for shared spaces lol. Tried a whiteboard system once that just turned into a passive-aggressive message board for me and my partner. My own bujo has a chores page, but it's basically just a list of things I've ignored for three weeks. It's a good system for people who actually follow their own plans, which I clearly do not.

Why do so many good systems fail because of the people using them? Mitchell, your whiteboard story shows how the best plan gets wrecked by normal human friction. It feels like the nicer the system, the faster real life messes it up.
