My worst week ever started with a glowing review for a new AC unit.
Last Tuesday, I posted a 5-star review for a high-end mini-split I installed in my own house. By Friday, I had three calls from people who bought the same model based on my write-up, and every single unit had a faulty compressor right out of the box. I spent the whole weekend doing warranty swaps instead of my paid jobs. It felt awful because I trusted my own experience. Has anyone else had a review blow up in their face like that, where your good faith recommendation turned into a mess for other people?

warranty swaps" sounds like you took on the manufacturer's job for free.

Yeah but "warranty swaps" makes it sound way worse than it is. Like carter.reese said, that's the company's problem, not yours. You just got unlucky with a bad batch, it happens.
