The day I stopped trusting Amazon reviews after a grill purchase
Back in June, I ordered a gas grill from Amazon based on 800 glowing reviews. It arrived with a dented lid and a missing valve, and when I checked the reviews again, half of them were from accounts that only posted once. I realized I had been duped by fake feedback, and now I only buy from stores where I can see the item in person. Ever since that $350 mistake, I cross-check every review on three different sites before I hit buy. What tips do you use to spot fake reviews?
