Took a chance on a no-name air fryer from a discount store last Tuesday

It was marked down to $25 because the box was crushed, and I figured I had nothing to lose since our old one died the week before. So far it works fine, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had luck with these off-brand appliances or if I should start saving for a replacement now?

Used to be the type to only buy name brand stuff, swore by it... but then I picked up a no-name microwave from a similar discount bin about two years ago and it's still going strong. That little air fryer actually sounds like a solid find for $25, I'd give it a fair shot before worrying too much. My microwave was dented and half price, figured it was a gamble but sometimes the cheap stuff surprises you. Honestly the big brands are just marking up the same basic parts half the time, from what I've seen. I'd say run it through its paces for a month or two and see how it holds up, you might get way more life out of it than you'd expect.

Bet your last dollar that thing will catch fire within three months.
