Can we talk about the guy at the lumber yard who said my plywood was "fine"
Stopped by the yard in Fresno on Saturday to grab three sheets of 3/4" birch ply for a set of shop cabinets I'm building for a buddy. The guy loading me up glanced at the edges and said "she's fine, just sand it," but when I got it on the bench I could see the core voids plain as day on two of them. Now I'm stuck either driving 40 minutes back to swap them or cutting around the bad spots and losing a quarter sheet per side. How do you all handle it when the yard guy waves off a bad sheet, do you just eat the loss or make him pull new ones?
