Counted the drawers I've built since my first shop in 1998 and got 4,112, which is a number I honestly can't picture
Started keeping a running tally in a spiral notebook after my old boss in Grand Rapids said nobody ever knows how much they've actually made, and now that notebook is full and I still can't believe the total, so I'm curious if any of you keep a count like this or if I'm just the weird one.
4,112 drawers is a wild thing to write down in a notebook like you're tracking miles on a treadmill. What did you do, carve a little notch for every one and then flip the page when the boss wasn't looking? Pretty soon you'll be counting screws too and the notebook turns into a math problem nobody asked for. At least when you kick it, your grandkids get a ledger proving you were busy instead of a shoebox of mystery keys.
