Just had a cabinet door hinge fail on a finished install, client was not happy.

That's the worst feeling. It's like the universe picks the exact moment you finish a job to make one tiny part fail. Happens with everything now, not just hardware. Stuff is just made to look good long enough to sell, not to actually last. You can do perfect work and still get sunk by a two dollar hinge from who knows where.
