Measured once, cut twice vs cut once, measured twice: my domino hinge learnings

I spent the last month building 6 cabinet doors for a kitchen reno in Portland. First 3 doors I cut the hinge mortises by hand, using my marking gauge and chisels. Slow going, took me about 45 minutes a door. Then I borrowed my neighbor's Domino joiner, just for the hinge plates. Set depth once, plunge, done. 8 minutes a door, every single one flush. The hand cut ones? 2 of the 3 have a tiny gap on the leaf edge, you can feel it when closing. I never thought a power tool would beat my method so cleanly, but here I am. Anyone else switched to the Domino for hinges and never looked back?
