Pro tip: hand cut 412 dovetails before I finally admitted the pin board jig wasn't cheating
Kept a tally on the shop wall since January and hit 412 pins by hand, then tried a $60 magnetic jig and my gaps went from credit card to hairline in one afternoon. Nobody hands out medals for sore wrists, so why do so many of us treat a jig like a moral failing? Anyone got a jig setup they'd put up against hand cut for half blind work?
