Shop teacher from my trade school said something about drawer slides that I can't shake
Ran into my old shop teacher Mike at a supply house in Akron about 3 weeks ago. We got to talking and he asked what kind of slides I've been running, and I said the cheap 100lb ones from the big box store, because that's what the crew likes. He laughed and said "you're building 30 year boxes on 5 year hardware, that math don't work." Never thought about it like that, but he's got a point, and now every cabinet I look at I'm doing slide math in my head. Any of you good at pricing out upgrades without scaring off the customer?
