Shoutout to my $40 pull saw for beating my $300 power miter on small trim
I had 14 pieces of shoe molding to fit around a built-in last week and grabbed my cheap Japanese pull saw instead of dragging out the power miter, mostly out of laziness. The pull saw cut faster, left a cleaner edge, and I could sneak up on the line without a single tear-out, which the miter never lets me do on thin stock. Am I the only one who reaches for hand tools on trim work even when the power stuff is sitting right there?
