Found a trick for fishing through blown-in insulation at a job site in Phoenix
Ngl, I was at this attic in Phoenix last July and the temp was brutal, plus that loose fill insulation just kept collapsing on me. I tried using a glow rod with a slight bend at the tip and it actually helped guide the cable through without disturbing the insulation as much. Has anyone else tried bending their rods a bit for tricky attic runs, or do you have a better method?

Honestly, bending the glow rod tip is a solid trick that I've used too. I was in an attic in Mesa last summer and the loose fill was just swallowing my fish tape whole, so I put a slight J curve on it and it slid right through without kicking up dust everywhere. Tbh that little bend makes a huge difference when you're trying to stay neat and not disturb the existing insulation.

Mesa in July? That's a special kind of stupid heat. I respect the dedication but I'd probably just quit and tell the homeowner to call back in November. Your J curve trick is clever though, I'm just amazed you lasted more than ten minutes up there.
