I was in a 1980s apartment building in Portland and the old wiring made me laugh

I was doing a service call at a place on Burnside Street last week, one of those old brick buildings from the 80s. I opened the main comms panel and it was a total mess of old RG-59 and a rat's nest of splitters. It made me think about how we used to run one line per TV and call it good. Now with everything being IPTV and streaming, the whole setup is just a relic. I spent two hours just cleaning it out before I could even start the new install. Anyone else run into these old setups and just shake your head at how much the job has changed?

Nah, I kind of miss the simplicity of it. You could trace a line with your eyes, @the_sarah. Now it's all hidden in the walls and the cloud. Felt more real.
