Looking back, I crimped coax connectors wrong for my first two years

An old head in Boise finally stopped me and asked why I was using my linesman's pliers instead of a proper crimper. He showed me how a bad crimp can cause ingress that messes up a whole node. Anyone else have a basic tool habit they had to unlearn?

That Boise guy saved you a ton of trouble. What was the worst signal issue you traced back to a bad crimp?

Honestly, I've seen way more trouble from bad connectors than bad crimps.
