Two hours of work because I forgot a $3 tool

Moved a drop from the pole to the house last week in the rain near Portland, but the old clip on my ground block was rusted solid. My impact driver and pliers both made it worse, so I just pulled the whole line and started fresh. Took me 2 hours and all I needed was that cheap block removal tool, who else carries one but never uses it?

Damn, that hurts lol. I've got one of those little block tools buried in my truck and I still end up wrestling with rusted hardware more often than I'd like to admit. Rain work is the worst too, everything seizes up worse when it's wet and cold. At least you got it done and didn't have to come back again next week.
