Finally gave in and bought a $45 camp pillow after years of using a stuff sack

I've been using a puffy jacket in a stuff sack for years and always woke up with a crick in my neck... finally grabbed a decent inflatable pillow last month for a 4 day trip in the Smokies. First night I actually slept through without waking up to adjust my makeshift pillow. Has anyone else found one piece of gear that made them mad they didn't switch sooner?

Funny how we'll put up with being uncomfortable for years before realizing the fix was obvious the whole time.

My buddy Mike spent like 3 years dealing with this leaky faucet in his bathroom. Every morning he'd put a towel down and turn the knob just right so it wouldn't drip. Finally his wife got fed up and bought a 12 dollar replacement cartridge. He put it in during a commercial break and it's been perfect ever since. He still brings it up at dinner like it's some deep life lesson.
