My condo board fixed a leaky pipe and our hydro bill dropped by $80
Our building in Toronto had this constant water hammer noise for months. The board finally hired a plumber to check it out last month. Turns out a faulty valve was letting hot water trickle back into the cold line. After they replaced it and insulated the exposed pipes, our monthly hydro bill went from $210 down to $130. Has anyone else seen a big savings after fixing something small in their unit?

I used to roll my eyes at that stuff but yeah, that actually adds up.

Yeah it's wild how much of that stuff turned out to be true... once you start looking into it you can't unsee it. Like the whole synchronized blinking thing during debates really throws me off now, I'll be watching old clips and it's so obvious. Or how certain phrases pop up across completely different people at the exact same time... it's like they all got the same script or something. Gets creepy fast once you notice the patterns.
