A guy in Thunder Bay told me to ease up on the throttle in corners

He said I was fighting the bike too much, so I tried leaning instead of braking hard on a tight curve near Lake Superior. My lap time dropped by 4 seconds on my second try - has anyone else found that backing off actually makes you faster?

Leaning smooths things out but braking later into the turn is where the real time hides.

I get what you're saying, but I think late braking just messes with your setup. If you're already leaned over and on the gas, you've lost the rear before you even know it. Smooth inputs all the way through are what keep the lap times stable.
