Just realized my old riding mentor was right about slow corners

Ran into Gary from the Calgary meetups at a gas station last month and he said I still brake too late into turns, compared my lines to my first season on the 2018 CBR, and now I can't stop seeing it on every ride.

My buddy runs drills up at the track day in Strathmore and he was just saying the same thing about trail braking. He read some study from a racing school that said most riders carry 10 to 15 percent too much speed into slow corners because they fixate on the exit. Once I started treating slow corners like a setup for the next straight instead of a brake zone, my whole rhythm changed. Gary's not wrong, it just takes a while for it to click in your head.
