Finally compared a proper resume service vs doing it myself - night and day

I spent like 3 hours trying to rewrite my resume for a warehouse lead role in Columbus and got nowhere. Paid $75 for a resume writer on Fiverr who specialized in logistics, and she actually pointed out 6 gaps I had in my job duties from the last 2 years. Has anyone else had better luck paying someone versus DIY? I feel kinda dumb for not doing it sooner lol.

...and the best part is that $75 is basically what three trips to Starbucks would cost you anyway, so you actually saved money in the long run (if you think about it like that). I swear the experts just know what keywords to throw in there so the bots stop auto-rejecting your application before a human even sees it. Now you can go back to staring at job boards instead of staring at a blank Word doc feeling like a failure, which is a win in my book.
