PSA: A guy got fired at my old job for a 'quick favor' and it messed me up for months
At my old warehouse gig in Dayton, a newer guy got asked by the shift lead to sign off on a safety sheet he never actually checked, just to save 10 minutes at the end of the night. He did it, nothing broke that week, but a month later corporate pulled the logs during an audit and he was walked out the same day while the lead kept his job. Has anyone else been put in that spot where saying no feels like career suicide but saying yes can get you canned?
