Read my own job description from 5 years ago and nearly laughed

Dug up my old offer letter from the Dallas firm that said I'd 'support strategic initiatives' and now I spend 40 hours a week in Excel fixing other people's pivot tables, so how do you actually tell if a job posting is real or just HR copy-paste from 2010?

Used to think those job ads were just bullshit on top of bullshit. But turns out they're actually telling you the truth about the place, just in reverse. The vaguer the language, the more desperate they are to fill a messy spot.
