That time I locked my keys in the idling truck outside Nashville
I was at a Love's truck stop off I-40 near exit 192, grabbing a coffee real quick. Left the truck running in January because I was only gonna be 2 minutes, but the doors auto-locked behind me. Had to call a roadside guy who charged me $150 just to pop the lock with an air wedge, and I was late delivering a load of lumber to a yard in Franklin.

Did you have to call the locksmith from a payphone or did you have your phone on you? That's a rough one, especially in January with the truck idling, probably burning through diesel while you're stuck outside. The Love's near 192 is decent but that $150 fee is brutal, I've heard stories like that costing even more if they show up in peak hours. Hope the lumber yard in Franklin didn't give you too much grief over the delay.

Payphone? Nah, I used my cell but my fingers were so cold I fumbled it twice. Dodged a bullet with the lumber yard though, they just laughed and said "at least it wasn't a flat tire.
