Vent: college career fairs in 2015 vs now, the difference is wild

I walked a campus career fair last week and the recruiters were scanning QR codes for AI chat bots instead of actually talking to students, which is a total 180 from when I got my first internship in Columbus back in 2015 by just shaking hands and asking about their worst project, has anyone else seen this shift or am I just old?
